Dear family and friends, we hope you can join us at Compton Farm this April. After pandemic- and pregnancy-related postponements we now invite you to the party of the millennium! In a field! On the Isle of Wight.
Brook, Isle of Wight PO30 4HF
Compton Farm dates back to 1086 and has been farmed by the present family for many years. Sheltered in a chalk down land valley on National Trust land (which has Sites of Special Scientific Interest status), guests can take a variety of walks over the Downs to enjoy stunning views, and the wonderful wildflowers.
Only a quarter of a mile away is Compton Bay the last untouched sandy beach of the Island; safe for children and swimming, and facing south it catches all of the sun.
This is a stunning site in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The whole of the Isle of Wight (including the waters around the Island) is also now a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It goes without saying but please respect the site and the wildlife - make only memories, take only photographs, leave only footprints.
Check out our Lineup and Info pages and if you plan to join us please submit your RSVP form a.s.a.p.
We are very lucky to have secured the stunningly beautiful Compton Farm campsite for the bank holiday weekend, camping will be free for our guests. If any guests want to bring caravans or campervans you will be welcome to park them on the campsite, but please note there are no electric hookups.
There are 12 static caravans on site, these are now fully booked for our party weekend but to book for other dates please contact Anna comptonfarmiow@gmail.com

There will be plenty of parking on site. Please be mindful that Compton is a working farm and be extra careful when driving onto and around the site! Thank you x
Ferries
Courtesy of our friend the Isle of Wight Guru, here is a beginner's guide to the Isle of Wight ferries and a link to car and foot passenger ferry deals.
If you are travelling by train you can book your return ticket to include the ferry tickets (and benefit from any railcard discounts you are entitled to), by setting your destination as one of the Isle of Wight ports: Yarmouth (Isle of Wight), West Cowes, East Cowes or Ryde Pier Head.
Buses
Southern Vectis bus route 12 stops at Compton Farm and the website has live departure info. Unfortunately this route does not go via any ferry ports so you would need to change onto a number 12. It runs infrequently and the last bus is likely to leave around 5pm, please check times!
Taxis
There are several taxi companies on the Isle of Wight but pre-booking is absolutely essential. Alpha Taxis can be booked online or by calling 01983 280280.
Lift-sharing
Whether you are booking a taxi or driving from the mainland, if you have any space in the car please consider lift-sharing - let us know or communicate directly with other guests via our Facebook event page.
Cycling
Cycles can be hired in Yarmouth and Newport from Wight Cycle Hire. Expect breathtaking views and breathtaking hills.
